As much as possible from Dorset and Hampshire. Executive chef Quentin Royles works directly with local farmers, fishermen and producers, from New Forest pork to Dorset dairy, so lots of what’s on your plate has travelled a very short way to get there. Our ethos is always ‘local when we can.’
A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to your bill. It’s entirely optional and can be adjusted or removed at your request.
We do not currently run a separate children’s menu, but our team are happy to put together something suitable from our existing menu, simply mention it when booking or with a team member on the day.

Yes, we host live jazz on Saturday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, with the bar staying open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Friday and Acoustic Sunday sessions will also be returning soon, follow @eighteen.bar for the latest.
No, there is no cover charge, a table reservation is all that is required.
We would recommend it. Saturday evenings are often very busy, and a reserved table means you’ll get a great seat.

Eighteen is located in Christchurch town centre at 18 Castle Street, Christchurch (BH23 1DT), inside the historic Georgian building of The Kings Arms Hotel. It sits directly opposite the historic Christchurch Castle ruins and is minutes from Christchurch Priory, the Regent Centre, and the River Avon.
Because Eighteen Restaurant & Bar operates as an independent dining concept within the hotel building, guests staying at The Kings Arms Hotel should bring a card to settle their bill directly in the restaurant, as direct room-charging capabilities vary.
There is no parking directly at Eighteen, unless you are staying at the hotel (in which case, parking can be found directly opposite). However on-street parking is available and there are several pay-per-stay car parks within a short walk.
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable in our space, so if you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can help. Eighteen has X steps up to the door. For wheelchair access, this can be sought via Ducking Stool Lane at the reverse of the hotel, but it’s easiest to give us a heads up in advance so we can ensure this is smooth and easy for you on the day. We have a disabled access toilet suitable for wheelchair users and our space is all on level once you are within it.
Dogs are allowed in the bar and lounge area, but not in the main restaurant. We ask that dogs remain on leads at Eighteen for the comfort of all guests.
We’re open 7:30am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday, and 7:30am to midnight Friday and Saturday.
